CURRENT PROBLEMS IN METALLURGICAL PLANTS AND POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS

Metallurgical plants are pivotal to Uzbekistan’s industrial growth, supplying key metals like steel, aluminum, and copper to construction, energy, and technological industries. However, these plants face challenges, including high energy consumption, outdated technologies, environmental pollution, labor safety risks, and supply chain instability. This paper analyzes major problems in modern metallurgical plants, focusing on Navoi and Almalik enterprises, and presents comprehensive solutions involving technological modernization, energy efficiency, digitalization, and workforce development. By implementing these strategies, metallurgical plants can enhance productivity, reduce environmental impact, and ensure sustainability.
