Abstract

The article explores folk-stage dance as a powerful instrument of cultural diplomacy in contemporary international dance ensembles. By analyzing intercultural interaction, symbolic codes, and choreographic interpretation of national dance elements, the study demonstrates how folk-stage performance becomes a medium of cultural communication among dance ensembles from different countries participating in global stages, festivals, and tours. Methods include comparative choreographic analysis, semiotic decoding, expert interviews, and case studies of Uzbek, Kazakh, and Azerbaijani dance ensembles. The results show that national dances strengthen cultural identity, improve intercultural dialogue, and enhance soft power through artistic representation.
