Abstract

This article analyzes the role and impact of the global market in the development of the tourism sector. In particular, the effectiveness of tourism, its contribution to national economies, and its significance in sustainable development are examined through key international economic indicators. The article explores global trends based on metrics such as tourism’s share in gross domestic product (GDP), the number of international tourists, tourism revenues, employment, and investment volumes. Additionally, the development level of the tourism sector is evaluated using rankings and indices provided by international organizations such as UNWTO, WTTC, and WEF. The author also presents conclusions and recommendations to improve economic efficiency in the field of tourism.
