THE ECONOMIC IMPACT OF THE GSP+ SCHEME: OPPORTUNITIES FOR DEVELOPING COUNTRIES

This article examines the economic impact of the Generalised Scheme of Preferences Plus (GSP+) on developing countries, focusing on how the preferential trade regime supports export growth, industrial diversification, and sustainable development. By analyzing key statistical indicators and reviewing relevant literature, this study highlights both the potential benefits and limitations of the scheme. The case of Uzbekistan is discussed in detail to illustrate the real-world effects of GSP+ implementation.
